Finding your authentic energetic signature is such an important lesson that helps you in every area of your life. Society programs us with “shoulds” that make us feel like we have to do things exactly like other people. When we feel like we have to do things exactly like other people it lends itself to comparison and as the saying goes, “comparison is the thief of joy”. Learning to throw out the “shoulds” (unless it’s life or death) and understanding your specific wants and needs when it comes to creating your best, most authentic life is a valuable lesson.
This can also help with not feeling behind, of feeling confident in going a different path, and doing things in a more unconventional way. This is not to say that a conventional or traditional way is bad, it’s just allowing for the possibility of it not being the only way. Take for example getting married, buying the house, having kids. We feel like we need to do these things, often in that order, and by a certain age. That may not happen for you and it’s ok! It’s not good or bad it just is. If you are not doing it because of fear or a block holding you back then it’s worth exploring, but to do it only because that’s what you feel you should do or you’re told should happen is not a good enough reason.
Maybe you haven’t found your person and you want to have a baby on your own. That’s parenting and building a family on your own terms. Maybe you’re starting a business and want to establish that before starting a family or maybe you’re at the empty nester stage and there’s been a career that’s been in the back of your mind that’s an itch dying to be scratched- GO FOR IT! You’re never too old to learn something new, to try something new, or build something. Age is not the qualifier. It’s sitting with your highest self, going deep into your soul and seeing what else was meant for you to experience and create. Then when it comes to actually going for it, it’s figuring out how to make it unique to you.
I always think of the questions, “Why should I come to you?” “ What makes you different?”. Sometimes it’s hard to articulate (I’ve been struggling so much with this lately) and it’s something you have to experience, but you have to know what it is you want to articulate first. When I first was starting in my spiritual business venture I was relying on oracle cards, wasn’t trusting my gifts, was following how other people executed their sessions, and ran their businesses. Some things really resonated, but others didn’t. Individually, my gifts may be called the same names others have, but when combined with my personal experience, talents, and perspective- what I offer is completely different than someone else. Many people can channel but not know what to do with the information, many can recall a past life but not know why it’s coming up and how to release old energy and integrate new energy, many can see patterns from your ancestry but not how to remove the energy or how to heal that ancestral line-it’s not only my psychic and mediumship abilities, it’s not only my gifts of seeing, feeling, knowing, hearing, it’s not only my ability to keep people at ease and create a safe environment to explore, it’s all these things combined that make me uniquely Beth in what I can offer. I realized I didn’t have to rely on what other people did (I no longer use cards because they actually block me and were a crutch for me), I didn’t have to choose one gift to focus on or market, I didn’t have to run a reading like every other psychic or medium, that the experience would feel different because every person has something different to offer based on their life experience, knowledge gained, gifts, and soul’s purpose and unique signature- the thing that people associate specifically to a person’s work, personality, aura, gifts, talents, soul. It can often be a feeling people are left with during and after they are around you or work with you- your authentic, unique energetic imprint. Kind of like your written signature- it’s your energetic signature.
It took me a while with each endeavor I ventured into to figure out how to make it my own. My spiritual journey, my relationship, comedy, writing, therapy, readings all needed a period of stepping out of my comfort zone and using trial and error to help me grow, experience, gain some different perspective, acceptance, and then came familiarity and comfortability again. We cannot expect change, improvement, achievement without discomfort. It’s just remembering it’s probably because it’s not familiar and that it’s temporary and on the other side is so much growth, confidence, and safety. It is allowing yourself to try even if you fail in order to gain resilience and information that will help you moving forward. And all those experiences added up create my energetic signature because whether you are hanging out with me as a friend, are my partner in life or business, a client, or a random person that interacts with me- you will be left with that energetic signature. It’s uniquely Beth and I’m proud and have grown to love that authentic frequency and vibe.
